Grief + Family Therapy — Meta creative proposal

This is the Positive Reset half. The Serenium creative moved to / and is the larger set. The stats and campaign table below describe the joint grief + family campaign, not these 7 ads alone.

Positive Reset · 7 concepts · built 2026-07-15, revised 2026-07-20 · not launched

The short version

1 in 10Hackensack patients who raise grief with their therapist. Only 1 in 75 have it as a diagnosis. That gap is the campaign.
8.4%No-show rate on first appointments — worst of any type. Once they attend, 78.8% come back. The first door is the whole problem.
~75%Of Hackensack patients are on Medicaid; 0.4% pay cash. So we lead with coverage, never price.
24.8%Treated for a reaction to a life change — a death, a divorce, a role that shifted. Nearly level with anxiety.

The creatives

Seven formats across the two campaigns: a photo with a headline, a text thread, a voicemail screen, a calendar reminder, a notes app, a Google search, and notes on a fridge door. The six marked no logo / no button are meant to look like something off your own phone or your own fridge — a logo would announce "this is an ad" and kill it. Brand attribution comes from the Sponsored label above the post.

Grief Text thread no logo / no button g1-delivered

Loss of a loved one

Grief keeps talking to someone who can't answer. The phone is where that happens now — texts nobody reads, a thread nobody can delete.

  1. The thread you can't bring yourself to delete. The messages you still send. Grief doesn't end when the funeral does, and talking about it isn't giving up on anyone. Positive Reset offers grief therapy across New Jersey. Medicaid and most major NJ plans accepted.
  2. Nobody tells you that you'll keep texting them. Or that you'll keep the thread for years. If you're carrying a loss that hasn't gone anywhere, a first conversation with a licensed NJ therapist can help you put it down for a moment.
  3. There is no schedule for grief and no deadline for asking for help with it. Talk to someone in New Jersey who does this every day.

Anticipatory / carer grief

Suciu asked us to reach the people caring for someone who is dying, not just the people who have already lost someone. No competitor in New Jersey advertises to them — everyone talks about bereavement, which is the part that happens afterwards.

  1. Caring for someone through illness, ageing or memory loss can bring a kind of loss that starts long before goodbye. It has a name — anticipatory grief — and support for it exists. Positive Reset offers grief therapy across New Jersey. Medicaid and most major NJ plans accepted.
  2. They're still here, and something is already gone. Talking about that doesn't mean giving up on anyone. Book a first session with a licensed New Jersey therapist.
  3. Grief doesn't wait for a funeral. If you're the one holding it together for everybody else, this is for you.

Grief Photo + headline g2-habits

Loss of a loved one

At Hackensack, only about 1 in 75 patients has grief written down as their official diagnosis. But 1 in 10 actually talks about grief with their therapist. People are already carrying it through the door — they just don't call it grief.

  1. The second plate. The saved voicemail. The reflex to tell them something. Grief lives in ordinary routines long after the funeral is over. Positive Reset offers grief therapy across New Jersey. Medicaid and most major NJ plans accepted.
  2. There is no correct timeline for missing someone. If a loss is still shaping ordinary days, a licensed New Jersey therapist can help you talk it through.
  3. Some habits belong to a person who is not here anymore. That is not a failure to move on. It is grief, and there is support for it.

Family Therapy Photo + headline f1-again

Recurring conflict

Suciu flagged family therapy as rising demand in our New Jersey Google Ads. The most common reason a family books itself in is the same argument on repeat — not a crisis.

  1. Same subject. Same words. Same ending. When a family argument runs on a loop, the loop is usually the problem, not the argument. Positive Reset offers family therapy across New Jersey.
  2. Some conversations repeat until someone changes the shape of them. A family therapist can help with that. Medicaid and most major NJ plans accepted.
  3. Families get stuck in patterns more often than they get stuck on facts. Family therapy in New Jersey — book a first session.

Caregiver load (sandwich generation)

The person caring for ageing parents while still raising kids is the same person as our carer-grief audience, caught at a different moment. One idea reaches both campaigns.

  1. Work needs you. The kids need you. Your parents need you. Somewhere in there is a person nobody is checking on. Positive Reset offers family therapy across New Jersey.
  2. Being the one who holds everything together is a role, not a personality. Family therapy is somewhere to set it down for an hour.
  3. Caring in both directions at once is exhausting and rarely discussed. A first session is just a conversation.

Family Therapy Google search no logo / no button f3-one-am

Recurring conflict

People type the honest version into a search bar at 1am long before they'd say it to anyone. The autocomplete proves they aren't the only one.

  1. Every parent who has typed this at 1am thinks they're the only one. The autocomplete says otherwise. Family therapy is a room where that conversation goes differently. Positive Reset offers family therapy across New Jersey. Medicaid and most major NJ plans accepted.
  2. You're not failing. Teenagers are hard, and doing it alone is harder. A licensed New Jersey therapist can sit in the middle of it with you.
  3. You don't need a crisis to book. You just need the same conversation to stop going the same way.

  1. Three notes about chores and one that nobody wants to open. If the important conversation keeps getting left on the fridge, a family therapist can help you have it. Positive Reset offers family therapy across New Jersey. Medicaid and most major NJ plans accepted.
  2. Families don't usually break down. They just stop saying the thing, for years, politely. That's what family therapy is for.
  3. You don't need to know how to start. That's the therapist's job.

How we run it

Grief and Family run as separate campaigns — different audiences, different intent. Blended, we'd never see which one works. The eight photo ads carry a button and ask for the booking (BOOK_NOW); the six that look like your own phone or fridge invite a conversation instead (LEARN_MORE), because they reach people who aren't looking for a therapist yet. Three on-image CTAs rotate across the photo ads.

CTAAdsWhat it testsCan we keep the promise?
